History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Rurik was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.
