Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She is a Courier first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Courier and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: Standing 5'9", this man wears tattered old clothes. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sellsword but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to clean up the streets

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Nikki lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nikki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: A 5'0" western man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears dull brown sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed shortbow, just in case. Her golden hair is matted, messy, and big. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
