History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Baern alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Art hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A freak accident while working with her Body Guard mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
