History: Howard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. History: Jarana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Jarana was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jarana's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
