History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Eva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Eva was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Althaea was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
