Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rael was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business
