History: He was born in the east. A freak accident while working with his Gardener mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Qualen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is dressed in earthy colors with a black and white handkerchief worn on her right side. Her crest, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are likewise gold. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Armorer business.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears violet painted combat armor at almost all times. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man wears baggy blue pantaloons and a black scarf, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he's looking for his big break
