History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Gardain and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gardain discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gardain fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Liftrasa was born with her mother's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
