Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Gennal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gennal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the left. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now mingles about in high society.
