History: He was born in the north. Burto was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Server. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a black vest and prefers tan and white shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has no hair. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He sports a flattop fur cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mortician.
