Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Manfred was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Manfred decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a rival would like him out of the picture

She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She wears a colorful flower in her gold crest. Her half smiles and red eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Saphara was born with her mother's beautiful face. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is dressed in earthy colors with a red and brown handkerchief worn on his right side. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This slender man stands about 4'0". He wears skinny pants and wears a grey and brown robe with the hood down. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'7" when asserting herself. Her head has been shaved. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east.
