History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is typically in her Layabout uniform. She sports a flattop hair cut. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. The war was a terrible time for her, and Althaea does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Tordrid was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with her Gardener father left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pallabar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.
