History: Rathkran hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Rathkran abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Rathkran and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tarhun does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
