History: Kellen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Description: This malnourished man is dressed in an above average manner. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Darrow is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Darrow was born with his mother's beautiful face. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Darrow has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears suspenders and black workpants. Her shirt is tan, and she wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. Her crest is short and black. Her gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire
