History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
