He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: She comes from a rich western family. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she has decided she is irredeemable
