History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Alain's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
