History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Helgret was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Helgret alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Helgret was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after River was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ombul was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Elama hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
