History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: Gifted from a young age, Tharivol studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Barrister mother left her crippled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
