History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: He is a husky man, who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ortegar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ortegar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. Her hair is black and curly. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing a tight white one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His red hair is cut short. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Stannor has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
