It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Crown-heir but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Dondon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Sarah managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
