History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Vlorn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Vlorn was born the youngest of three triplets. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vlorn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a hammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: Shautha speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Astaro never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
