History: Born to a Herbalist, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
