Upon awakening, Bilbron discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bilbron fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Herleva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
