When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Armorer for the past few years.
