He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears his black hair down. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Naeris studied abroad. Through the years after Naeris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Naeris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jarsali grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jarsali. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
