History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Astar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Faral was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Tanner, but she got bored and became a Fisher. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Fistula was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of gnolls
