History: She was born in a small desert village. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Jane is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A true patriot, Jane would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the west to a Herbalist, Jane learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Enialis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Enialis. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by her family
