The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Her auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her skin is flawless and her gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Barrister. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born in a small island village. Ahlyssa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ahlyssa decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heather alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
