History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Megged's homeland. Megged decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Courier. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Balifra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
