History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Nuraval wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Nuraval was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption
