History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mijira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Dragonborn, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
