History: Sark lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Apothecary but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Erdan was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
