History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with green colored cloaks and clothing. Her purple hair is singed and shortened. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines red.
Personality: She is a Weaver first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mastema does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Mastema was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a Weaver soon after.
Motivation: To be a Painter again.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears suspenders and tan workpants. Her shirt is blue, and she wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. Her red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has a dull look in her amber eyes.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Myathethil was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Myathethil decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
