Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Balam was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears professional attire. His white fur is lengthy. His skin is flawless and his copper eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Smoking was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business
