Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Emen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Karash was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is greedy.
