Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Standing 5'8", this woman wears tattered old clothes. Her black hair is lengthy. She has a dull look in her brown eyes.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Cartwright business.

History: She was born in a small island village. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy red hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want her driven away

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is black and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Watson lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and regain custody of his daughter
