She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Veloptima was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Názkûga lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Názkûga alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
