Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Paela was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Paela alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Paela and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure
