Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and is pretty ugly. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Arha is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arha grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Spear was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Golm enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Golm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls
