Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
