His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mordai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

After months of barely getting by, Shanairla managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Tatyan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Tatyan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cora grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cora. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by her family
