History: Ratlûg was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the east to a Slave Trader, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a white coat. Her hair is short and red. Her eyes are likewise amber. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
