Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a glaive on his belt. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Mayor. He now owns his own business.

He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. He has green eyes and a tan hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Lamlis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lamlis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
