History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sellsword but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a black cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His head has been shaved. He has violet eyes and a black hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Tarak never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.
