Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. She has no hair. She has gleaming, smiling silver eyes.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Nija hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Nija was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nija's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and many illithids want her driven away

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 5'9". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a ceremonial dagger. His hair is blonde and very short. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Galinndan was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his sister
