She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over.
