When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available she will default to her sickle. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She is baby faced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Gurdis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Syllin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Slave Trader, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
