History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Roger began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.
