History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Ella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
